(since 2003-); Director of the Institute of Psychology of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (2012-2019); member of the Psychology Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences (since 2015-); scholarship holder of American and European universities (including the Catholic University of America (Washington D.C.), USA), Catholic University of Leuven (Leuven, Belgium), University of Wisconsin-Madison (Madison, WI, USA), Purdue University (West Lafayette, IN, USA), Cornell University (Ithaca, NY, USA), Universita Italiana per Stranieri (Perugia, Italy), University of London (London, UK); author, editor and co-editor of over 20 books and over 150 articles in national and international journals in cognitive psychology and neuroscience, psychology methodology and communication through visual and audiovisual media; principal investigator, scientific supervisor and investigator of grants financed by the Scientific Research Committee, Ministry of Science and Higher Education, National Center of Science, Ministry of National Education, National Center of Research and Development; long-time collaborator of TVP SA; awarded with: Idzi Radziszewski University Laurel, third degree scientific award for co-authoring 13 scientific articles in renowned scientific journals and managing two NCN grants in 2018 (Senate of the Catholic University of Lublin, 2019), First-degree individual award for original and creative scientific achievements, outstanding organizational and social activity, popularization of science and education of scientific staff (Rector of the Catholic University of Lublin, 2018), The Władysław Witwicki Prize (Polish Academy of Sciences) for outstanding academic achievements in psychology (2016), Theophrastus Prize for the best scientific psychology book in 2013 (Imagia. IMAGIA. Towards a Neurocognitive Theory of Image was recognized as the best scientific psychological book in 2013 and honored by the editors of Charaktery magazine with the Theophrastus Prize.

WŁADYSLAW WITWICKI AWARD OF THE POLISH ACADEMY OF SCIENCES (2016)

for outstanding scientific achievements in 2016. The Wladyslaw Witwicki Prize in Psychology was awarded for the monograph IMAGIA. Towards a Neurocognitive Theory of Image.
